Master Ensuite, showing a separate his and hers sink with freeform mirror.

Initially it was not our objective to penetrate the highly competitive world of interior design. We soon discovered however, that most of our free form log furniture calls for special treatment and allocation. It is best displayed and made most functional if the architectural design and interior décor compliment one another as well as the future furnishing. Creating living spaces that embody and radiate vitality is one of our goals. We manage this through allowing the raw materials' natural elements to come through without trying to shape and restructure them artificially.

Master Ensuite jacuzzi following with the underwater reef theme.

One of the goals in this en suite was to recreate the feeling of sand and surf the owners enjoyed on many of their scuba trips. Roots bearing the right form and feel were first selected. Mirrors were then cut in order to give shape and accent the roots. Shape was also critical in order to accentuate the freeform of waves found around reefs, that was then related through the slate tiles. The tiles were hand selected not for just the rich color, but also for the pattern on the surface. As a result quite a few show off beautifully fossilized ferns and mollusks.
